The village has fallen into disarray.. Everyone keeps making deals with the old devil at the crossroads, getting their souls stolen. Someone has to do something! You, a gifted witch, with the knowledge of turning yourself into a wolf, are our only hope.. Please, slay that ancient evil!
You play as a shapeshifting witch who can hurl magic projectiles at her enemies. She can also transform herself into a nimble wolf with the ability to dash. Use your magical skills to slay the Old Empty One!
This is a bullet-hell type game.
Controls:
WASD/Arrow Keys - Move Left Click - Attack E - Transform into a wolf/human Space - Dash (as a wolf)
Theme
There's a devil guy, but that's about it
Fits the theme very well.
There was never drawn any relation to how it interprets the theme so I quess the guy in the boos fight was Kurat but having dialog with a name or something would have cleared that up.

would be fun if there weren't the dense circular attacks that were literally impossible to evade
it's fun, but does it just never end?
I really liked it and the art style and the 8bit music and wanted to kill it, but don't really understand how to dodge the circle attack? wolf form dodge sometimes worked through the bullets but sometimes didn't quite. Still it was enjoyable.

It was too hard, I couldn't win
It was okay. There is no indicator for health of the boss anywhere. There is also undodgeable mechanic which is not good for fighting game. The health system seemed weird. It had drops almost indicating chance to get hit 3 times in top right but then you could get hit more than that. Also health regenerated I think?

the gameplay was really fun but how am i supposed to get through the wall of bullets? wolf's dodge didnt seem to work

quality retro pixel art. could have done with a pixel font that included umlauts. not hard to find nor make yourself with pixels.

The visuals were good and the gameplay was smooth. I get the choice in audio but I its not to my preference. No points were deducted in that aspect tho. The visuals were pretty generic I would say. Perhaps a little bit more effort could have been put on level design to make it more interesting as it was just a box currently with Kurat? in it
