Theme
nice souvenir type game
Never thought UTGJ would get even a little bit meta.
Literally having us experience the same thing again, not sure you can get closer to the theme. Especially with the storyline
In the future, leaving in the past in a game a creating a game for the future.. meta.
The theme is actually super point on, wow.
probably the funniest game on this jam but it doesn't feel very "future is past" to me
Felt like u made a game u wanted to make, and then smashed a description in to fit the theme
I don't see how it's following the theme, unless reusing the same events each day somehow means that the future is past.
Due to the repetetive and long nature of the game I didn't play it to the end, and I really find anything connecting it with the theme.
Enjoyment
It's pretty fun, though do gets repetitive
Genuinely fun, loved the references and real life Daniel
Could use some quality of life polish, but all the necessary features are there. The tutorial is kind-of messy, but it works. I would have preferred if I had to actually interact with stuff (i.e. "press E to enter the bathroom"). As it stands, I didn't know what I was getting myself into until I was already in a minigame.
The game worked well. I got to know that I do a lot of mistakes while coding and that I don't see colors so well..
This is oddly very fun and easy to understand. I loved the minigames and all the jokes.
Minigames!
Could be better if it is possible to skip(or fasten) the starting part next time.
The tutorial is long and the game feels confusing. I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
It wasn't interesting at all
Aesthetics
Story is good, art and audio are on point
Could be better, but great game
Pixel art is a game jam classic! It was great for what it was. I will say though, some consistency would have really helped improve it all. Maybe sticking to a pixelated font and further removing all the smooth lines would have helped keep it consistent. I really liked the music, though!
The art seemed a bit messy and all over the place (styles and colors)
As a sound designer, I enjoy the sound and its execution :)
Nice sound, art. Very simple guidelines. Catched quite quicly what to do.
Main menu felt very convoluted, with menus nested inside each other. Why do I have to go to settings to quit the game? Art was okay, but didn't really match at times.
Needs to be more cohesive, you cant really just slap a pixel art png in a pixel art surrounding and call it aesthetics
Innovation
liked the different options and rooms
There are similar minigame collections (i.e. WarioWare), but usually they struggle with keeping a consistent theme. It is a fun style of game, not sticking to one strict gameplay loop but tying several small ones together. I liked the way this was executed.
The minigames themselves might have not been innovative, but the whole package really is super interesting
Douche simulator but with supposed time travel and coding
Bonus
I didnt get it the game.
I really liked the surreal feeling of repeating the same jam experience I just had. Pixelating the room itself and getting Daniel to voice act was brilliant! I also liked all the jokes in the little minigames (i.e. catching bugs). It's really strange having Daniel unexpectedly say "check discord" against my ear. Bonus point for the strange surrealism of it all
Secretly viewing the jammer card
Please give itch direct download instead of providing a drive link next time. Also use .zip instead of .7z Also bonus points for getting Daniel to voice act
love the voiceovers
Game jam simulator game made for game jam
pizzzaaaa and fun Daniel sounds
lol
Minigames
most enjoyable
I don't think I've ever seen a game jam game this good
Humor!
Really liked the game :) Awesome idea!
Nope.
