Stolen notes:
Stolen Notes is Rhythm based bullet hell game about a musician girl who is trying to compete with AI to prove that humans are better at arts than soulless machines.
---------------------
*** This game is heavily designed to be played with headphones and fullscreen.
Sound, subtle audio details and etc, are core to the experience. Playing without headphones will significantly reduce immersion and make key moments harder to understand. ***
----------------
Gameplay:
The player takes control over a “musician girl” and controls her position on the arena with a mouse cursor position, while trying to follow up to a beat by clicking mouse buttons to shoot an “enemy” with 2 types of different music notes while moving around the arena and avoiding ai bullets
Theme
I wish the theme was more present in the game.
It has a parretn to follow.
ig the bullets came out in a "pattern"
Enjoyment
It was a nice short bullet hell experience
It took me a bit to understand how the shooting works and I still don't quite understand, but I enjoyed dodging at least!
Very confusing
OMG! I am not such a gamer that enjoys being obliterated by bullet hells! If that's how it is with AI, we need a more forceful display.
Very polished feel
Boss have to many HP
didnt understand the shooting at all, just spammed and only sometimes the bullets fired. some bullet walls were just too compact, bad example of a bullet hell
Wasn't really intuitive at first but getting into the rhythm was satisfying.
Aesthetics
Very pretty game!
Wonderful!
nice animations, particles, shakes. good job!
Enjoyed the music
It looked good at least.
very pretty. could have played more with the responsivness of hitting and getting hit.
Art and music were both really nice.
Innovation
I liked that you had to click on beat.
Well, I guess I see the approach and messaging.
Bonus
Fun mix of aesthetics!
confused about the mechanics
Bonus for making a game about battling AI.
pretty game
Frustration: I wanted to press on Settings button. It started the game.
The music ;)
Touhou?
actually playable on linux
