Das pretty darn cool! Spooky darkness is nifty as heck.
I can see it fit the theme mechanically
Well interpreted
spooky game
Yes, that's absolutely amazing! 100% in the bullseye!
Very well
Mystery dark building
nice theme, philosophical.
Discovering the darkness :P
Interpretation is good and goes well with the theme
Well executed
Enjoyment
Had tonnes a fun. The darkness was kinda cool until I realized I got infinite ammo and then I just pulled up on shadowy monsters.
Very cool idea for the matches being a resource, but the implementation felt a bit limiting, esp since switching to your gun wasted a match if it was lit.
Platformer controls felt very floaty, good video about that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWi0jgghGcI
Level design was bad at points (first enemy that dropped on your head) since losing didn't feel like my fault but the designers actively wanting to make me lose.
Had a bug where the game crashed when I died.
Generally interesting idea
I would have played more if it didn't crash
Feels alright, difficult to play with matches running out
very cool i like the light mechanics
I wish I enjoyed it more but I constantly die (and even don't understand why, what kills me?). Also not seeing is good but I am absolutely lost and the enjoyment is pretty hard.
feels great but i didnt like that you had to unequip your lightsource to use the gun
fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun
Cute loop, didnt play enough to really get anywhere. The scene switch from tutorial to the second level was a bit jarring, thought it broke. The reloading only reloads one clip also relly messed with me. I liked the usage of lighting in the dark.
Aesthetics
Nifty indie darkness game aesthetics.
Darkness helps a lot, but the pixel art was rough and the character animations didn't represent both directions of movement.
Nice audio
spooky and cool style
It is great, despite I don't know the ending because wasn't able to advance too far.
Everything fits together well.
scary dim atmosphere. good pixel art
very nice environment. Using matches to find way to move forward
Simple, but effective
Very pretty art assets
Innovation
Seen it tho. But theres potential here.
It's innovative, but the execution makes it feel like the innovation isn't good.
Very cool muzzleflash lighting idea
I like the importance between switching torches to weapon and losing some sort of safety in the process (either cant see anything or you are prone to dying)
Not very uncommon with the darkness and light mechanic
A good game but it's like a usual game
I liked the addition of slime
the darkness mechanic is pretty intense
Hard for it to be unique
Usage of lighting for firing.
Bonus
Really nice
The platforming was enjoyable!
I loved exploiting pistol as a torch :) Still not helped a lot
Very polished game
none
very nice game
Darkness and the main menu was cool gotta give that
