We are doing a simple horde rush shooter in unreal 5, but before you get to play you have to input in 4 variables of 1-50. These are used to determine the amount ammo, health you gain for player. They are also used to figure out how many enemies spawn, thus the into the unknown part of the theme.
Theme
I'm not sure how horde rush shooter resembles the theme
How are these bots associated to the theme?
Lost island, where you are dropped?
Enjoyment
It was aight. The sfx on the gun was cool and the shooting was solid. Sad part was that the enemies always took 3 shots to go down.
Missing reticle makes aiming hard Input variables is an interesting idea
I cant vote on this because my computer can't run this (too laggy)
Lagging as hell
Sensitivity was through the roof, but shooting stuff is always fun
sadly i could not run it after trying to play, screen was glitched after pick up gun part
I guess you could shoot and the ragdoll reacted. Died when going on more ammo pile.
Aesthetics
Way too blurry. The assets also don't really go together very well.
It was a UE5 tech demo basically. Could have put a filter over it ngl.
Not a fan of the UE template assets and default UE post processing (motion blur, etc)
Assets are ok, that's all
A bit loud, got jumpscared
sorry i couldnt play the game to demanding for my computer, please dont count this vote
looks pretty
Made me feel sick
Assets look cool
Innovation
Balls curved in the air as opposed to going straight.
Mechanic is innovative ngl
the input or randomized variables is very cool
Nothing to add
Gamblers approach to the theme, works great
Feels like a flip
Bonus
500 MB and RTX 3080 in airplane mode (hurts you as people aren't properly able to play your game)
3D
Nothing to add
cool that you used unreal but maybe consider who are your players next time
