It is space themed, but the gameplay does not fit into the unknown part too much
i have no idea where im going
Space can count as "unknown" so yes, it's okay
Flying a space ship into the infinite expense of cosmos. Spot on.
Well technically it is an expedition into the unknown.
Deep into space, no idea what's to happen
Spot on
Theme makes sense, a flight into unknown
Enjoyment
I'm sorry i played for a few minutes to see if anything would happen but nothing changed. I just repaired things. How do you win?
So if you added a meteor shower, auto combat and enemy ships, this would be amazing. Looking forward to it.
Not sure what I was supposed to do, just repair stuff? Steer the ship where?
Everything worked well though
its really chill and relaxing
It would be 4.5+ points if anything happened besides difficulty raise (random effect). But after some repair, it became a bit boring to repeat the same stuff over and over.
It becomes repetitive very quickly, having just a handful of systems to handle by just holding down a button and waiting. Not much room for skill, since after reaching a certain point the improvements will be diminishing. I'd suggest adding some more mechanics and surprises, maybe like minigames for certain systems and events that will trigger specific breakages.
It feels ok but some things are too slow.
It didn't feel enjoyable enough. Core loop was holding down button and wiggling spaceship
it Got boring really fast because nothing interesting was going on and there was no goal other than keeping the % up
Gets boring pretty fast
Aesthetics
Nice pixel art.
Comfy space.
Cool art but a set color palette could help a ton in making it look good
good sound design
Great art and audio! Story is pretty simple but repairing things is also fun!
Sound is cool and sells a "flying through space" aesthetic. Although monotonous hum of the engines gets old quickly. In terms of graphics I'd suggest applying antialiasing. And for the love of god, add some camera smoothing, the jitter makes me seasick :D
The art is cool and the ship and sound design too.
Menu was very nice, like an actual game. spaceship was a bit lacking.
Liked the pixel art style
The graphics and audio feel/look good
Innovation
Maybe you could even put a minigame at some of the repair things.
It's good that there is actual a losing condition for when the objects actually go to 0%
More unusual gameplay than others but something is absent (idk what, maybe some additional interaction)
Usually an element of many in space exploration games, first one coming to mind is FTL, although not an exact match, but systems repairs are a common task there.
I liked the ship controlling mechanic.
Spaceship
you could drive the ship. to give false hope of getting somewhere
It's alright
Bonus
Godot allows for some super simple scaling options in Project -> Project Settings -> Window
If i'd to see a little less bugs (menu and ship rotation set the background off-screen) and just a bit more gameplay (for ex. ship computer could give hints on where to go (an arrow?) and what to do) I would give it quite a bit more points
Could be a good idle game
Thank you for a great menu! It made game much more comfortable
Although nothing particularly special about it. There is something in it. Mechanically it is nothing much but the atmosphere set by the main menu and then for the first ~5-10 minutes of the game is thick and pleasant. Keep at it, there is something great to be made of this!
Theme
Spehhs.
Thematically in, mechanically not
