The great wizard Corvum Nigrum was betrayed by the Kingdom. With his last breath he uttered a terrible curse - to get revenge and kill the King!

Use left/right arrow keys or A/D to move the crows. Avoid hitting sharp things. Kill peasants to bolster your lines and get revenge!

Theme

The crows you have really interpret the life part of it but you don't really use them as currency in any way. I can see the relation to it but it's a bit far off.

It felt more like an exponential game where you collect "X" and become bigger and bigger. Kind of like a zombie apocalypse style but crow apocalypse. Thus, I did not exchange my life or my crows' life for anything (usually the definition of currency is to trade something for other). I just had to kill stuff. Trading life for life seems also slightly too obvious.

It was more that others' deaths fed you life, but I still liked it a lot!

I loved the theme interpretation on this one. With a twist and also a game.

The connection between the theme and the game is obvious and lovely.

Theme is spot on.

There are lives, but they aren't connected to any kind of currency

Poetic cinema!

Great translation of life into resource

The number of crows (or well lives) you have and the mechanics of dying are nice.

I really like this interpretation.

Enjoyment

The game is easy to control and quite fun. I love the way how you can trick the people to missing their stabs and slashes to attack them from behind.

I wanted more gameplay! More stuff to break with my insane horde! MORE MAYHEM! The controls and logic by which the lead-crow is chosen is unwieldy and clunky though. I would have like to have more control over my crows.

I didn't want to stop but my CPU almost did...

Once I figured out how to control the birds, it was so much fun! Even though those peasants are wily as hell.

Swarm is hypnotic thing. Too bad the movement model was irritatingly annoying. Perhaps any other models were too easy. But I enjoyed it anyway.

The game is very enjoyable. Honestly, have never played as a flock of birds - or a flock of anything before, and it is very calming in a way.

It had really good mechanics! I loved the feel of controlling the crows and the combat as well! First game that I tried and off to a really strong start!

Mouse or directional input instead of left/right turn had made the game a lot more enjoyable.

Clunky controls, but sure.

Great

Was a bit hard to understand how to move around. First time I got stuck a the same place.

It feels quite nice to play, but I would've had up and down buttons instead of left and right. Controlling the birds in such a way can make you get stuck very easily.

Good in general, but the controls are a bit clunky.

Aesthetics

It's a simplistic style but it's executed well. The screams of the crows give you a good laugh at the start and is overall enjoyable to play.

Coherent and sharp. Not very varied, but that's okay, as the core gameplay does not expect too much of it. Minimalism is definitely a plus for the core gameplay, as it keeps the gameplay easy to follow, there is no trash on the screen that would distract me.

minimal and nice, fun crows

nice hnnn sounds

Hilarious peasant audio, beautifully stark art.

Less is more here and the game was aesthetically quite coherent. Loved the interface with just a counter of crows.

The art style is simple/minimalistic, the birds rather beautiful and the crow sounds aren't annoying. Very well designed!

For me the aesthetics was the best part.

Simple but really atmospheric! I love the idea of making it a black and white game. The contrast is great. Also the sounds are cute.

Hard to differentiate between foreground and background. During the level I learned that buildings can be passed through, but then castle crushes all your crows.

Really cool graphics

Audio and art look and feel great. Strong aesthetic.

The crow sounds are just right, they don't get on the player's nerves.

Really nice, clean and simple aesthetics. Masterpiece of design.

The art is very neat and the sounds add a lot to the game.

Innovation

I like how you control one crow that a mass of crows follows. If the controlling crow dies then it changes to a different one. It's a fun idea to play as a mass of crows attacking farmers as kind-of a revenge.

I like game-of-life and horde style games so this was up my alley. I didn't find too much new here, that I have not played yet.

Playing as a flock of birds was marvelous!!!

I liked how the peasants ripped into the murder and had their pitchforks filled.

As mentioned before, I have never seen a game mechanic like this before. I love playing as a flock of birds!

I want this game mobile version!

The visual representation of the players life as crows is nice. I haven't seen it. Every murder also costs you some losses.

Bonus

The control scheme is simple yet easy. Everything works fine and it's well made. Fun to play and would like to see some new mechanics or bigger and badder bosses.

I enjoyed the general feel of the game. Everything fits together well so this is a big plus in my books. The name, general theme of the game (revenge fantasy), aesthetic, etc. It fits together well and this gave me an experience that it's a complete game.

The crows

sleek controls

Really impressed with the mechanics, once I figured them out.

Just more high points for you!

BURDS

+0,5 for villager sounds. +0,5 for a small team, making a great game!

I love flocking.

Bonus points for design!

I really liked it, good job guys.

It's a cool idea!
