You are magically infused cat who is trying to reach a higher plane of existence. Nirvana if You will.
You have an ability to trade Your age for free stuff.
But free stuff ain't free, there is a curse. You're not getting any money when You sell stuff. You're getting value of the trade added to Your age. And your ageing speed is influenced by events happening in the world as well as the stuff you own. Sell too much and You die quickly. Of old age. Buy too much useless shit and You poof out of existence.
Any time You can choose to end the game by ASCENDING! All the years you have accumulated will be tallied and the total count will carry you to your new life.
Theme
It fits very good on to the theme
It fits the theme. Literally. Maybe too literally. There is not much nuance offered for the theme.
Very good interpretation
Theme taken as literally as it could
Super.
Theme is interpreted great!
Enjoyment
Can´t understand the game quite well
I am a sucker for idle and clicker games, so this gave me my monthly fix.
It was a bit confusing how to enjoy the game
Seems like a generic cookie clicker, except there is no point in getting to higher tiers.
It wasn't boring, so much as difficult to understand - some parts were too slow, and some were too fast, and I couldn't really sort it out before I was dead.
its nice and chill but abit too chill. Feels abit like watching the paint dry.
Initially bit confusing. The cat updating its visuals was nice. So was getting too young in a poof. The UI part of game had things like +/- being quite apart and the player had to look away from where it was looking to see prices.
The concept is interesting but for me personally I don't find this genre of games appealing.
I was a little confused about where the difficulty of the game is. Upgrades are good but
Got boring quite quickly
It could be a bit more interactive.
Aesthetics
Sounds are all good and stuff, but what is the story based on
Since the game is mostly based on user interface, it could definitely use more polish and coherency. The colour palette chosen worked well within the framework.
Music and animations where really nice.
Nice cat arts, also like the cat-themed music.
The art was beautiful, but I didn't understand some of the words used (maybe they were misspelled?), and there were a few things that looked clickable but weren't. The music was beautiful.
The cat is real cool. The music is also spot on.
Simple graphics, Image and UI styles didn't match. Liked audio.
The visual and audio part of the game are stunning and add personality!
Really good color palette and style. The pixel art lines could be more polished but for a game jam game it is looking really great! Really atmospheric and cute.
Really cool animations, but the store UI wasn't the nicest
The cat is chuul. So much cooler than me.
loved the audio
I really like the artstyle!
Innovation
This is an idle clicker game. I think I have played too many of these to feel like this would innovate anything. There was no twist for me. I did like the fact that you had to balance your income/expense which not many idle games do, as they are built on player retention and people don't like losing :)
It was a really neat marketplace concept, but I'll have to spend some time with it to really understand it.
I liked the approach, even though it could've had more to it.
Liked how one has to stay in some age to get more stuff.
Lol, I'm a cat
Interesting clicker game. Nothing too unique.
I liked the stock market approach
Bonus
I like how the cat goes from big cat to little kitty
The cat graphics are made with good humour and it offers me personal satisfaction as I am very much a cat person.
Cat animation
For turbo mode :)
CATS but then my rat left me and I was heartbroken.
It chilled me the f out. :)
The cigarette. I also came back to grade it and think this one had nice "game" aspect to it that was slightly lacking in others.
catttt
Bonus points for cute pixel cat!
the pet rat was real cute.
