Qr@ Quest is a simple classic game: you create a character, the character collects loot.
We used some Unity assets and created some from scratch. We have some planned features and some surprise features.
Well, the only thing related to the theme was using the tree to jump over an invisible wall I think? Rest weren't related.
Not sure where the bug as a feature was
i didn't get the bug feature theme
Not sure how it goes with the theme
I've sadly got to say I did not find the theme revelance. Some more hints on that for the player might be good. I tried looking for advantageous bugs in about 3 playthroughs, but did not find them. I'm sure it's in there, but can't vote on it higher since I did not see it.
I don't see how this relates to the theme at all.
If you want to build your game then go for it but these jams are not the place to do that.
Enjoyment
Well, we were just running at the gold sacks that are staticly placed in 2 minutes
I mean the character controller is great (although probably not made during the jam) but the rest of the gameplay, and sound is pretty meh
It was nice enviroment, quite cool.
Loved the whole gameplay, it's such a cool idea and loved running around annoying the villagers
Solid movement. Maybe a bit floaty, but otherwise good to run around in. I'm a bit confused that if I run it it tries to start SteamVR? (Or is that just me, I did not take it into account in voting in any case). Also I'm a bit confused at the kratt construction in the beginning, it feels like I'm supposed to be able to customize it, but I can't get it working? Nothing I do does anything. A bit too high quality graphics probably too, I have an RX570 and ryzen 1600 and the motion blur gave me lag.
Aesthetics
The models and the design were really good
Pretty poorly optimized (both in terms of size and speed)
very nice.
The animations were funny and well made, loved the gold bags
The village looks good. I can see that these are assets, but it works together.
Liked the drawings on the main screen.
Innovation
Nothing innovative in my opinion
the graphics style in the 3d environment matched everything, well done.
Haven't really seen a game like this before, great idea to build upon but definitely fix the graphics
